Trans Am Series Returns to PRI with Announcements, Driver Appearances

New 2023 Driver to Be Announced, New SGT Car to Be Unveiled
INDIANAPOLIS (December 7, 2022) — This week at the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show (PRI), the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli will be represented at the SpeedTour booth (No. 7015) in the Yellow Hall, as well as at several other locations around the event at the Indiana Convention Center.
Trans Am President John Clagett will be on site at the SpeedTour booth, as well as SpeedTour CEO Tony Parella. Aaron Coalwell, Technical Director of TA/XGT/SGT/GT, and Ricky Brooks, Technical Director of TA2 will also be in attendance. SpeedTour’s VP of Strategic Partnerships Melissa Clay will be available to discuss sponsorship opportunities with Trans Am.
When the doors open on the morning of Thursday, December 8, Turn Key Motorsports will unveil its new Chevrolet Camaro for the Trans Am Series’ SGT and GT classes. The high-quality and affordable spec-level vehicle can be fully customized to customers’ specifications to race in either class, and can also be upgraded from GT to SGT at any time. Their SGT car will be on display in the PRI Featured Vehicles section in the Yellow Hall near booth No. 2869.
At 2:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, join Trans Am Series President John Clagett and Safety-Kleen Marketing Director Buddy Judy at the ArmaKleen/Safety-Kleen booth (No. 5367) in the Yellow Hall as the series announces its newest TA2 class competitor and unveils their iconic 2023 ride that race fans and industry professionals are sure to immediately recognize.
On Friday, December 9 from 2:00-3:15 p.m., Trans Am will host an autograph session featuring four of its drivers, as well a driver from Formula 4 United States Championship (F4 U.S.) at booth No. 7015.
