The traveling Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy is making a three-night stop in Akron starting Thursday night through Saturday night.

The ticketed event, with some seats still left for each evening, will be at LaPlace Events on Buchholzer Boulevard.

The traveling show is part theater and part cocktail party.

All guests must be 21 years or older.

The 90-minute experience takes place in an intimate speakeasy where guests get a glimpse into Poe's eerie literature.

The first drink is the Pale Blue Eye cocktail that is inspired by Poe's "The Tell-Tale Heart" and the ingredients help retell the tale.

The second drink is the Cat's Meow that helps recreate Poe's "The Black Cat" story.

The third cocktail is Nevermore that compliments Poe's classic "The Raven."

The final Poe story explores "The Masque of the Red Death" through the Cocktail of Red Death.
