Akron police are investigating a Saturday evening shooting that left four wounded, including a young child.
Authorities said in a news release that the four victims in the Goodyear Heights shooting included a 4-year-old and three adults ranging in ages from 33 to 52 years old.
No information was released about the extent of the injuries.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 800 block of Morningview Avenue around 7:40 p.m.
"Detectives are following up on leads and working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident," Lt. Brent Bauknecht said in a statement.
This shooting comes just a month after another shooting in Akron left one dead and 28 people wounded. There have been no arrests in the June 2 shooting in East Akron on Kelly and 8th avenues.
