Nashville Predators schedule 2024-25: Opponents, dates and key matchups

The NHL has released the full 2024-25 season schedule, including the full slate of Nashville Predators games to begin in October this year.

The Predators will open the season on Thursday, Oct. 10 against the Dallas Stars at Bridgestone Arena, followed by a road trip to the Detroit Red Wings that Saturday. Nashville has six home games and three away games in October.

The team's first long road trip takes place in November. Between Nov. 11-20, the Predators have a five-game stretch visiting the Colorado Avalanche, Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, Vancouver Canucks, and Seattle Kraken.

In December, the Predators play eight games on the road, including back-to-back games against the Winnipeg Jets and Minnesota Wild between Dec. 30-31. This month also has the team's longest road trip of the season from Dec. 27 through Jan 7.

January includes an even split — six games at home, six on the road — including key rivalry matchups against the Chicago Blackhawks (Jan. 16) and Minnesota Wild (Jan. 18).

In February, the Predators have a light schedule, mostly due to the Six Nations Tournament break between Feb. 12-20. At the NHL Draft on Friday, the NHL announced two Predators players would be represented in the tournament: Filip Forsberg for Team Sweden and Juuse Saros for Team Finland.

March and April feature the final 24 games of the regular season for the Predators, including the finale on April 16 against Dallas at home.
