The Feast app will make inspiring mealtimes easy, with brilliant recipes from the Guardian’s food writers. From quick and budget-friendly midweek dinners to show-stopping weekend dishes, you’ll find a huge selection of recipes. The app is curated daily, and new collections and recipes are added every week, so you’ll find ideas for every season and occasion.

What devices does the app work on?

The Guardian Feast app works on all Apple devices running iOS 17 and above, and Android [8 and above].

Is the app available in all countries?

Yes, the app is available in every country through the App Store and Google Play store. We currently have recipes curated for both northern and southern hemispheres to bring you the best seasonal recipes.

How often is the app updated?

The app is editorially curated daily, with new recipes, collections and cooks added regularly.

How does the app work?

The app is split into three main sections:

Home - be inspired by our fresh selection of hand-picked recipes from our food editors.

Search - looking for something in particular? Search or browse our constantly expanding library of recipes using a selection of easy-to-use filters.

My Feast - this is where your saved and cooked recipes live.

Subscribing to Guardian Feast

How much will the Feast app cost?

The Guardian Feast app is available for a 14-day free trial, followed by £2.99 per month in the UK, €2.99 in EU, $3.99 in the US and Australia, and $2.99 in Canada and the rest of the world for a monthly subscription, with an annual option also available.

How do I sign in?

You will be prompted to sign in or create an account when you download the Feast app. We ask you to sign in so that it’s easier for you to return to your preferences and saved recipes within the app.

How do I subscribe to the Feast app?

When you download the app, you will be asked to sign in with your Guardian account or to create a new one. You do not need a subscription to navigate the home screen but once you tap a recipe, you will be prompted to subscribe You can choose a monthly or annual subscription.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple and Google. In order to cancel, you will need to go to the Settings on your device, where you can cancel your Feast subscription.

Will I get free access as an existing Guardian supporter?

Please log into the Feast app with your Guardian account to check whether you are eligible for free access.

Using the app

How do I save recipes in the app?

You will find a save icon at the bottom right of recipe pages within the app. To find these recipes later, tap ‘My Feast’ on the bottom right of the home screen.

How do I use cook mode?

Cook mode prevents your phone from being automatically locked while you are cooking, and allows you to navigate recipes step by step. To use cook mode, tap ‘Start cooking’ within a recipe page, and tap the individual steps as you progress.
