The Stool 60 has become the perfect embodiment of Aalto’s invention, and is the most simple of variations. A round seat made of plywood and solid wood, and legs of solid birch with their famous L-bend. This set of four, with varying ages (probably 1940s-1950s based on the stamps), are in a nice worn condition...

Another dining chair (model no. 66), by Alvar Aalto, overpainted some time ago in navy blue. Finmar tag is present but melted (for some unknown reason – possibly from use of paint stripper), dating the chair to around 1933/34. Front legs have been replaced with similar colour legs – but chair could be painted...
