This was a really engaging and successful lesson for all 7 third grade classes! I had my husband drill holes in stacks of 10 plates with a circle drill. 10” plates are mounted on 12x12” paper with hot glue. Frosting and donuts are tempera and almost all toppings were grabbed at @retakeremake my go to for all things art! Displaying these was a game of strategy to get a variety in three rows across 36’ x3’ bulletin board. If you only see my posts, be sure to check out my stories every day!

@mychinet @retakeremake @dunkin @earthlingerin thanks for your 2017 post. I never forgot it🩷" Donut Paper Plate Craft, Art Bulletin Boards Display, Paper Plate Donut Craft, Elementary Art Bulletin Boards, Third Grade Art Lessons, Summer Art Lessons Elementary, Donut Art Project For Kids, Glue Art For Kids, Donut Art Project

1 million years ago (ok, actually 14) when I walked into my first art room there was absolutely nothing in it. Other than tables and chairs, there were no supplies, no white board, no decor. Nada. I had taken a job at a brand new beautiful school which certainly had it’s perks (clean, brand new, not having to inherit a

Hello, friends! I'm excited to share that the school-wide collaborative my first through fourth grade students created at THE BEGINNING of the school year (yikes!) is finally installed. Like, finally. Y'all, while I do love having all students creating a collab at the start of the school year, why do I do it to myself? It's so much work on my end! All the attaching to bulletin board paper and hanging...it's so much! AND I always procrastinate! And yet I do it year after year. Such a glutton…
