Spine is a minimal stool created by Japan-based designer Kazunaga Sakashita. Chairs and stools are used for tables and counters, and the backs of these objects are often exposed. The designer wanted to create a high stool that would put the focus on the back, thus creating a stool with a beautiful back view. The stool is designed not only to have a beautiful back view, but also to stretch the back of the seated person and make the seated person and stool look beautiful overall.
