THE BEST MARINADE for baked chicken. Middle Eastern Style. The yogurt adds slight tang and tenderizes the chicken, but the veggies add a whole lot of flavor. *excuse the voice, I'm a little stuffy 😆 Marinade: • (Enough for 2 chickens, or 1 chicken with sauce for serving) • 1 large roma tomato • 1/2 yellow onion • 5 cloves garlic • Jalapeño to taste • 1/4 bunch parsley • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil • 3 tbsp yogurt • 1/4 cup pepper paste or tomato paste • 2 tbsp lemon juice • 1 tsp paprika • 1 tsp aleppo pepper • 1 tsp garlic powder • 1 tsp onion powder • 1 tsp 7 spice • 1 tsp coriander powder • 1/2 tsp turmeric • 1.5 tsp salt • 1.5 tsp sumac Blend the vegetables with the yogurt, oil and pepper paste.
