  • 3rd Place Winner: Lora Tulchinski 🎨🏆✨ Exciting news! 🎉🥉 Multi-talented artist Lora Tulchinski won 3rd place in the Bodypainting Artventures Invitational Championship, Season1: Ancient Goddesses! 🌟🖌️ Her exceptional creativity and mastery in bodypainting have once again dazzled and inspired us all. Huge congratulations to Lora for this incredible achievement!!! 🎊👏 Lora’s goddess “Eternity” was modeled by beautiful Anjelica who braved the hot desert and did some incredible posing on a pole high up in the air; not an easy task given the big wings that she had to wear while doing it! 👏 Here’s what the judges said about Lora’s design: “Very dramatic face and overall composition. Stunning impact from a distance with wings and headpiece adding nicely to the design”.    “Beautiful message about art. Unique design, intense color scheme but it’s working”. “The impact of the head piece is incredible”. “I love the addition of the wings; they really make this piece shine”. “Single face painted on both legs was a challenging undertaking, the two halves of the face do not align perfectly. The whole design works well together when the model has a certain position with legs close together limiting the range of motion and poses”.  Photo Credits ETERNITY Event: Bodypainting Artventures Invitational Championship, Season 1: Ancient Goddesses  Artist: Lora Tulchinski Assistant: Julie Boehm Model: Anjelica Wings Designer: Rebeka Greenberg  Photographer: Dmitri Moisseev Producer: Art Fashion Studio Publication: Bodypainting Artventures Magazine https://lnkd.in/eZ-QVVV #ArtFashionStudio #BodypaintingArtventures #DmitriMoisseev #BodypaintingArtventuresInvitational #BAIC #BodypaintingArtventuresInvitationalChampionship #BodypaintingChampion

INFINITI, THE GODDESS OF TRUTH Here are a few of my inspirations in creating this beautiful human canvas. Firstly, I was using a balance for illustrating justice in the hand of my model. Secondly, I have also used the sign of Libra which represents the same meaning in the zodiac wheel. These symbols were used because I think that we need more balance and justice between men and women, between countries and between rich and poor in our lives. Justice for me is something that everyone deals with on a daily basis. This aspect of life reflects in deciding on how much to give, how much to take, how much to receive or how much to share. When balance is achieved, there is peace. Where there is peace, there is justice. There is also a little beetle placed on my headpiece. For me this means a rebirth and a new beginning. After the covid pandemic, we needed a new start, a rebirth of a new age with more love, justice, balance and human connection. This symbol also means mutation and with that aspect I think that we are in for a big change in our society in the near future. The face of an Egyptian goddess is also visible on the left side of the chest looking forward to a new beginning. Two Egyptian crosses were drawn on both sides to symbolize an eternal life. Ancient goddesses from the past are still represented in our present and for me this shows eternal life for them in our modern world. They are in a way still here with us though making them part of our art creation. • Please support and share our Kickstarter campaign to publish this and many other incredible bodypaintings: https://lnkd.in/ducbn_6p Bodypainting Artventures Invitational Championship, Season 1: Ancient Goddesses Julie Boehm is a conceptual artist who has made her mark in the realms of painting, photography, and film. Her artistic education was rooted in the traditions of the "Akademie der Bildenden Künste" and "Graphische" in Vienna. From 2011 to 2013, she channeled her creative vision as the Creative Director for Spykeheels in Berlin, while also exploring cinematic storytelling at the Babelsberg Film School. Her academic journey culminated in 2018 with a degree from the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg, underscored by her internationally acclaimed short film, "Paris you got me," which garnered over 70 awards globally. This success punctuated her evolving narrative expertise and solidified her standing in the cinematic domain. Since 2009, body painting has been a significant facet of Julie’s artistic repertoire, with her works and performances earning recognition at various competitions. The establishment of her studio in Wittenberg, Saxony-Anhalt, represents a homecoming - a dedicated space for an artist who continues to push creative boundaries and inspire through her diverse artistic expressions. MAMI WATA Mami Wata is a figure from African mythology, often depicted as a mesmerizing mermaid or serpentine water goddess. She embodies the perilous and bountiful aspects of water, serving as a protector of nature and a patroness of wealth and fertility. Mami Wata is believed to possess profound spiritual power, influencing healing, fortune, and economic prosperity. In the serene stillness of the Dead Sea at sunrise, Julie Boehm's body painting of the goddess Mami Wata emerges as a poignant meditation on life's surreal elements—water and salt. Symbolizing the divine essence from which we are composed, the painting integrates vanitas symbols like the skull and snake, underscoring the transient beauty of existence. The intricate patterns of the makeup mimic the dancing caustics of light on water, evoking the mesmerizing play of reflections one sees gazing into the depths. Through Anjelica's portrayal, Mami Wata becomes not just a mythological figure, but a living tableau, celebrating the sacred fusion of life's fundamental substances.
