Witnessing how the Sami herders embrace modern tools to enhance their traditional practices is fascinating. Utilizing DJI drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras and speakers allows them to locate their reindeer more efficiently, especially in challenging weather conditions and vast landscapes. This technology also enables them to meticulously guide the reindeer to the most optimal pastures, ensuring their well-being and the sustainability of this time-honored way of life. DJI FlyCart 30 in action. Recently, severe rainstorms have hit the Chinese countryside, inundating and washing out critical infrastructure and roads. On one occasion, the DJI FlyCart 30 was used to locate stranded people and deliver essential supplies while search and rescue teams tried to reach them. Instances like natural disasters really highlight the importance of drone operations. By using drones to map affected areas, locate people, and deliver important supplies, we can prevent the loss of life while ensuring the safety of rescue teams.
