202-22 (Fifth Year): Hollingshed led the Buffs in scoring (14.1 ppg), helping Colorado to its first NCAA Tournament since the 2013 season…Ranked fifth in the Pac-12 in total points with 437…Was also sixth in the conference with a 42.1 FG% (162-385)…Had nine double-doubles on the season, finishing her career with 25 (6th in school history)…Scored a season-high 28 points against Utah (1/30/22)…Snagged a season-best 12 rebounds against Washington in the Pac-12 Tournament (3/3/22)…Colorado went 20-8 on the season when Hollingshed had at least five rebounds…Had career-highs in rebounds (230), blocks (32), assists (62), 3FGM (53) and FGM (162)…Became the sixth player in CU history to reach 1,600 points and 900 rebounds…Scored in double-digits 25 times…Became CU’s all-time leader in games played (141)…Finished sixth on CU’s all-time scoring list (1,681), sixth in FGM (629), sixth in rebounding (911), ninth in 3FGM (164), ninth in blocks (118) and 10th in 3FG% (.339)…Also moved into ninth all-time with 87 career double-digit scoring games…Was drafted No. 8 overall in the 2022 WNBA Draft by the Las Vegas Aces.
 
2020-21 (Senior): Hollingshed became the 32nd member of the 1,000-point club in 2020-21…She surpassed the mark in the midst of scoring 19 points against Washington (1/1/21)…Hollingshed scored in double-figures in 20 of 23 games…She scored 20 or more points in three games…Hollingshed scored a career-high 32 points in CU’s win over No. 1 Stanford…Snagged a career-high 17 rebounds at Arizona State (1/22/21)…finished sixth in the Pac-12 with her career-high 15.4 points per game…Was second in the Pac-12 with a career-best 7.8 rebounds per game…Tied for the conference lead with eight double-doubles on the season…Also averaged career-highs in minutes (32.8) and assists (1.7).

2019-20 (Junior): Hollingshed had her best season to date at Colorado…she totaled career-highs in points (13.1), rebounds (6.9) and assists (1.4)…Hollingshed totaled three double-doubles, giving her eight for her career…She led CU in scoring, rebounding and was tied for the team lead in steals (1.3 per game)…Hollingshed scored in double figures 20 times, including three 20-point games…She snagged a career-high 12 rebounds in CU’s 50-38 win over No. 11 Arizona…She also had a career-high six assist against Denver…Hollingshed scored 368 points on the season, giving her 889 in three seasons. 

2018-19 (Sophomore): Hollingshed started all 30 games for Colorado this season. She had career-highs in points per game (10.8) and minutes (26.9). She led the team with a .439 field goal percentage (126-287). She recorded her first career double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds against San Jose State (12/6), adding four more throughout the remainder of the season. She made a career-high 10 field goals, going 10-for-12 in CU’s win over SJSU. She scored in double figures in 17 games this season, including eight games with 15 or more points. She was awarded the Lisa Van Good Rebounding Award with a team-high 6.6 rebounds per game. She led the team in rebounding in 14 games and snagged a career-high 12 rebounds against Southern California (3/1).  

2017-18 (Freshman): Hollingshed emerged as a key player throughout her freshman season, averaging 6.8 points and 3.9 rebounds in 29 games as a reserve, playing both on the wing and in the post. She shot 45.5 percent from the floor and a team-best 42.7 percent from 3-point range, and totaled 198 points, 113 rebounds, 19 blocks, 17 steals and 16 assists. In Pac-12 play, she was CU’s third-leading scorer at 6.8 points per game and shooting 48.4 percent in league contests. Hollingshed scored in double figures seven times during the season. She had 11 points in a win over North Dakota State on Nov. 29. She scored 17 points on 6-of-12 shooting and had eight rebounds in a win over Westminster (Mo.) on Dec. 21. In Pac-12 play, Hollingshed scored 10 points vs. USC on Jan. 12. But her breakout game came two weeks later against No. 17/17 Oregon State. She scored a season-high 22 points and buried six 6-pointers, shooting 8-of-14 from the floor and hitting three first-half 3-pointers to help CU lead the Beavers at halftime. Hollingshed then had 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting and grabbed nine rebounds against Utah on Feb. 4. She helped the Buffs to a win over Washington on Feb. 16 with 14 points, shooting 5-of-6 from the floor with four 3-pointers. She wrapped up the season with 20 points and six rebounds against No. 6/6 Oregon in the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 Tournament. Hollingshed averaged 9.8 points over the final 11 games.

High School: Hollingshed was a four-year letterwinner at Bellaire High School. She averaged 18 points and 11 rebounds as a senior while earning first-team all-state honors and being selected as a team captain. She also averaged 15 points and eight rebounds as a junior. As a result of her success at Bellaire, she was a McDonald’s All-American nominee. She also competed with Texas Elite Phenoms AAU and was named an Adidas All-America and Under Armour All-American.

Academics: Hollingshead graduated with a degree in communications in the spring of 2021.

Personal: Mya Hollingshed was born on Oct. 29, 1999, to Modeane Walker. She loves to dance to any type of music and enjoys arts and crafts in her spare time. She also likes to laugh and crack jokes and describes herself as a light-hearted person, who loves to lighten the mood. Her father Leroy played basketball at Grambling State and Alcorn State, and her grandfather Terry Sykes played at Grambling and was selected in the second round of the 1978 NBA Draft by the Washington Bullets.
