💡 "The Geopolitics of Hydrogen" - Join our FREE #WEBINAR on July 17: www.mission-hydrogen.com #Hydrogen is a promising technology for decarbonization of many sectors (we all agree on that). It’s not easy to make, so there’s still a lot of R&D and project execution experience needed (those of you who have been involved in a project will agree). Those who figure out the solutions will probably be the ones that build the factories and create jobs (and that’s why politicians give them subsidies). There’s a lot of noise out there, the number of announcements is staggering – and still nobody knows what’s really going to happen. (Or do you?). Despite the growing excitement around hydrogen, there is still significant uncertainty about its future. The webinar will address three major but often overlooked issues: ✔ NIMBY (Not In My Backyard): While people want clean energy, they resist local projects. ✔ Industrial and Job Shifts ✔ Economic Dependency on Fossil Fuels Think about it. The energy transition will change the geopolitics dramatically. In both directions, depending on where you live and what decisions are being made today and tomorrow. Mikaa Blugeon-Mered, Professor at the SciencesPo University in Paris, France, will share his knowledge and expertise with you. #missionhydrogen #HydrogenEconomy #EnergyTransition #CleanEnergy #greentech #future

The key question shaping every hydrogen-related business case is: "What’s the hydrogen demand in the next 20-30 years?" This essential insight drives market needs and production strategies. We are LIVE NOW with Carlos Bernuy-Lopez, Ramboll, who will share his perspective and give you an overview of the "Worldwide Hydrogen Demand in 2030, 2040, 2050". 🌍 Join now for FREE: www.mission-hydrogen.com #missionhydrogen #cleanenergy #future #technology #sustainability #energytransitio

💡 "Worldwide Hydrogen Demand in 2030, 2040, 2050" - Join our FREE #WEBINAR on July 10: www.mission-hydrogen.com The current hydrogen market is approximately 100 million tons per year (depending on the statistics that you read). Some of that market will go down in a net-zero scenario (e.g. refineries), and some of it will grow (e.g. ammonia for fertilizers due to a growing population). In any case, this #hydrogen has to be produced from renewable sources instead of natural gas, oil or even coal. So this market alone is big. But what about the hydrogen demand for mobility, seasonal storage, steel, sustainable aviation fuels (SAFs), intercontinental shipping and other hard to abate sectors? How big is this market going to be? How many million tons of green hydrogen does the world need per year? How many electrolyzers, valves, sensors and EPC manhours does the market need? How many factories do I have to build now to be prepared? Carlos Bernuy-Lopez, Senior Consultant and Thougt Leader at Ramboll, will share his perspective and will give you an overview of what is needed to achieve Net Zero and what role clean and green hydrogen might play. This will include: ✔ Understanding the projected hydrogen demand over the next 20-30 years ✔ Evaluating the shift from fossil fuels to renewable hydrogen sources ✔ Assessing the market needs for hydrogen in various sectors ✔ Planning the necassary infrastructure and production capacity for future hydrogen demand #missionhydrogen #cleanenergy #future #technology #sustainability #energytransition

💡"The Toyota Hydrogen Strategy" - Free #WEBINAR on July 3: www.mission-hydrogen.com. The first country in the world to adopt a national hydrogen strategy was Japan. One of the driving forces behind was the largest OEM, Toyota Motor Corporation. Toyota has had their own vision of a decarbonized mobility for decades, and hydrogen has always been at the center of their activities. Currently, Toyota has several vehicles on the market, including the Mirai (passenger car), a prototype of the Hilux (pickup truck) and several heavy duty trucks (including vehicles in cooperation with other OEMs such as Kenworth, Isuzu and Daimler Buses). 🎤 Jackie Birdsall and vincent mattelaer from Toyota Motor Europe and Toyota North America will give you an overview of: ✔ Why Toyota believes in hydrogen ✔ What their long term vision for zero-emission mobility is ✔ What vehicles Toyota has under development and what they will look like (ok, they cannot share the secrets, but they will give you an overview) ✔ What kind of hydrogen infrastructure Toyota needs ✔ What the difference is between Europe, North America and Japan in terms of hydrogen mobility ✔ What Codes&Standards they have helped to develop, and what is still needed ✔ What you can do e.g. as a supplier to be part of the game 🔗 Register Now: https://lnkd.in/ewWgK9MU #missionhydrogen #h2 #cleantech #greentech #energytransition #sustainability #future

💡 "Hydrogen #Purification for #Electrolyzers and #FuelCells" - Join our FREE #WEBINAR on June 26: www.mission-hydrogen.com Hydrogen purity is one of the most important aspects to ensure both safety and reduce degradation of fuel cells. Water purity is one of the most important aspects to minimize degradation of electrolyzers. Hydrogen drying and oxygen removal is one of the most important subsystems of electrolyzers. Coolant deionization is one of the most important aspects to ensure electrical safety of fuel cell systems for mobility and stationary applications. Hydrogen filtration is one of the most important aspects of refueling stations – otherwise particles would “sandblast” pipes, valves and o-rings from the inside. All in all, if you want reliable hydrogen systems, you need good filters and good media conditioning. Robert Jozsa and Marc van Deth, Parker Hannifin will give you an overview of: ✔ How to ensure hydrogen purity and reduce degradation of fuel cells ✔ How to purify water to minimize degradation of electrolyzers ✔ How to purify hydrogen in electrolyzers ✔ How to filter air and hydrogen in fuel cell systems and electrolyzers ✔ The role of coolant deionization in ensuring electrical safety for fuel cell systems in both mobility and stationary applications #missionhydrogen #h2 #cleantech #greentech #energytransition #sustainability #future

Why do we need #Water for #Hydrogen? 💧🌍 Water is essential for hydrogen production by electrolysis. 💧 Use: 10 kg of high-quality water is needed to produce 1kg of hydrogen 🔹Consumption: Actual water consumption will depend on recovery rate and efficiency 🔹 Cooling: Water may also be required for cooling during the hydrogen production process. We are LIVE NOW with Jon Freeman and Michael Urschey, Kurita who are discussing “Seawater Desalination for Electrolysers”. 💡 "#Seawater #Desalination for #Electrolysers" - Join our FREE #WEBINAR on June 19: www.mission-hydrogen.com 10 kg of water are needed to produce 1 kg of hydrogen. In theory. In reality, something between 12 kg and 20 kg are needed. The difference between the stoichiometric value and the real value is needed in the water purification process and goes back to the wastewater treatment plant, the river or the sea. This brine is not polluted, it’s just concentrated drinking water or seawater. In this webinar, Dan Freeman, Product Manager, Kurita will give you an overview of: ✔ How seawater desalination works ✔ How water purification for electrolysers works ✔ How much energy is needed per kg of water or hydrogen ✔ How much brine is produced and how to deal with it ✔ How seawater desalination can be used to produce hydrogen offshore ✔ How mature the process is and how much it costs Dan is based in Scotland, and he has 26 years of experience in seawater desalination, reverse osmosis, membrane technology and water treatment. In his career, he has helped to build numerous seawater desalination plants on offshore platforms for the oil and gas industry. So who – if not Dan – can answer all of your questions in the Q&A part of the webinar? #missionhydrogen #h2 #cleantech #greentech #energytransition #sustainability #future
