When the color of the background or text in the search block is changed, it does not reflect on the input field itself when the search button is disabled. This enhancement request suggests that the color settings should apply to the input field when the search button is not present.

What is your proposed solution?

Color settings should reflect on the search button when it is present, when there is no search button it should reflect on the input field itself.
