How to change notification settings

 

Manage your communication preferences from Sam's Club in a variety of ways:

 

Change settings using your online account:

Access the My Communication Preferences page

  1. Sign in to your SamsClub.com account
  2. Select Communication Preferences on the left side of the screen under the Membership heading
  3. You can subscribe/unsubscribe from promotional email communications and/or text communications
  4. Subscribe for Curbside Pickup alerts during checkout

NOTE:  Allow sufficient time for your marketing preferences to be updated. It may take up to ten days to process email requests and up to 30 days for requests related to telephone calls, text messages, and sharing information with your consent. Please note that postal mailings are often prepared many weeks in advance, and you may continue to receive mail for 8-10 weeks.

Promotional Emails:

At the bottom of marketing emails, there is a hyperlink to unsubscribe. Click the link, which will redirect you to a webpage to unsubscribe from Sam’s Club emails.

To opt out through the Communication Preferences Page:

  1. Sign in to your SamsClub.com account
  2. Click on “Your Account” in the top right of the page and then “Account Information"
  3. Next select “My Communication Preferences” on the left side of the screen
  4. Deselect the email programs that you would like to opt out of in the Email Notifications box, scroll to the bottom, and save your choices

 


Text Messages and/or Phone Calls:

Sam's Club does not accept opt-out requests from third parties, such as catalog opt-out services.

Does Sam’s Club have a new phone number for marketing text messages?

Yes, our new number is 70392 and members will be receiving marketing text messages if opted-in from this number moving forward.

 

Are these texts I received Spam?

No, these text messages are NOT spam. These are valid messages sent to ensure our SMS subscribers are properly notified that we are changing numbers.  

 

What’s the best way to know if I’m receiving a marketing text message from Sam’s Club?

Validate the number you are receiving a marketing text message from is 70392 and make sure you add Sam’s Club to your contact list. You can easily do this by adding the contact card you received from Sam’s Club or navigating to “Add New Contact” on your device and saving Sam’s Club’s new number to your contacts.

 

How do I opt-out of marketing text messages?

  1. Text STOP to the short code 70392 *EASIEST OPTION*

  2. Call Sam’s Club customer support (888-746-7726) and reach an agent requesting for opt-out 

  3. Email support@attentive.com requesting for opt-out 

  4. Submit opt-out request through https://www.samsclub.com/help-center/additional-help

Message frequency varies.

 

Will I get discounts or special offers with this program?
