Refer a Friend – Help Article
The Refer a Friend program is a way for you to share what you love about your Sam’s Club membership with your friends and family.
- Log in to your Sam’s Club account online.
- Select “Refer a Friend” in the dropdown menu beneath your name at the top right of the site, or go to SamsClub.com/ReferAFriend
- Copy the link on the Refer a Friend page and share it with friends and family.
- When your friend receives the link, they’ll complete the steps to become a new member of Sam’s Club.
- Once your friend’s membership is confirmed, any eligible rewards will be applied.
What else do I need to know?
There are some restrictions and limitations of the Refer a Friend program. For instance, there may be a maximum number of referrals you can give per month. For specifics, see the terms and conditions on the Refer a Friend page.
Complimentary Membership

Can I sign up in a club and receive this promotion?
Members cannot join via the Refer a Friend program. Only Friends and Family can sign up using the link embedded in the email that the member provides. Friends and Family can only join online.
Can anyone participate?
Refer: Yes, but you must have an active Sam's Club Membership and a registered online account to access the Refer a Friend program. You must share your unique referral link that can be found on the Refer a Friend landing page.
