A Sam’s Club Gift of Membership provides the recipient with access to exclusive members-only savings on a wide range of products, helping them save money on their everyday purchases. It can only be used toward membership fees, and is only redeemable in-club, not online or over the phone. 
 
A Gift of Membership has no expiration date and is not refundable for cash or merchandise, except in states where required by law. The card is not an official membership card, is not redeemable online and is not replaceable if lost, stolen, or destroyed.

 

How to Purchase a Gift of Membership:

To purchase a Gift of Membership online, search for “Gift of Plus Membership” or “Gift of Club Membership” here.  You may also purchase a Gift of Membership in all clubs.

Other options:

  • If you are a company or business with an employee size greater than 30 and would like to offer memberships to your employees, learn more about . Discounted memberships are available with a minimum 1 year contract required. 
  • If you prefer to make a bulk purchase of the Gift of Membership, visit the Walmart Corporate Gift Card Program here and create an account. The order will be fulfilled via mail and you will be responsible for redistribution of the cards.
  • If you would like to provide a discounted membership to a friend or family member, visit the Refer a Friend site here. 
 

How to Redeem (Recipient Instructions):

To redeem the Gift of Membership, visit the Member Services desk at any Sam’s Club location in the U.S. or Puerto Rico. Once redeemed, start enjoying all the benefits of being a Sam’s Club Member. You can use the Gift of Membership for any of the following membership fees:

  • New membership
  • Renew your membership
  • Upgrade your Club membership to Plus
  • Add-on another cardholder to your membership

Sam’s Club membership provides access to more than 600 Sam’s Clubs and online at SamsClub.com.
