Il nuovo Direttivo del Cluster Tecnologico Nazionale Fabbrica Intelligente - CFI, eletto durante l’Assemblea annuale del 17 giugno, ha riconfermato la presidenza del Cav. Lav. Gianluigi Viscardi, dando così inizio al suo quarto mandato (i primi due dal 2015 al 2019 e ora il rinnovo dopo la nomina del 2022). Nell’occasione sono stati eletti anche i nuovi componenti del Comitato Tecnico Scientifico, alla cui guida rimane il Prof. tullio tolio del Politecnico di Milano. Il CFI, che conta oltre 200 associati, ha obiettivi chiari tra cui il rafforzamento del suo ruolo istituzionale: per i prossimi 3 anni intende essere protagonista, soprattutto per quel che riguarda i tavoli tecnici a Bruxelles, favorendo quei partenariati pubblico-privati focalizzati sui materiali avanzati, sulle terre rare, sulle nuove tecnologie, sulla digitalizzazione dei processi e dei servizi per l’industria. 🚀 Exciting News! We’re thrilled to have signed the Preliminary Acceptance Certificate (PAC) for Tenova's Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) at Tosyali Bethioua plant, located in Algeria. Tenova's EAF is the first unit in the major third investment stage at Tosyalı Algérie to receive the PAC. Both our customer, Sinosteel, and the end user, Tosyalı Algérie, have expressed their satisfaction with the outstanding performance of our team, appreciating the significantly shorter time it took to complete the hot test period, allowing the plant to start operations swiftly. This is a repeat order, demonstrating the continued trust Tosyalı Algérie places in us. Additionally, we’re proud to highlight that this #EAF is the world's most productive #DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) melting furnace, processing 2.5 million tons of pellets annually. 👏 A heartfelt thank you to the entire project team and everyone involved for their dedication and hard work in achieving this milestone! 🌍 A historic day today for Italy's steel industry as we kick off the nation's first trial using #hydrogen for steel processing! We’re excited to announce our collaboration with Snam and #TenarisDalmine on this groundbreaking project. Together, we're tackling the challenge of decarbonizing hard-to-abate industries by leveraging the rapid growth of the hydrogen sector. Our goal is to use hydrogen produced on-site to power Tenova's innovative 100% hydrogen-ready burner installed in a reheating furnace at the Tenaris plant in Dalmine, Bergamo. 🚀 Over the next six months, we'll evaluate the performance and reliability of the entire hydrogen production chain and usage in an industrial context, particularly in steel processing. This initiative not only aims to significantly reduce CO2 emissions but also sets the stage for future integrated solutions. Big thanks to TenarisDalmine for providing the site and furnace, and to Snam for their expertise in hydrogen technologies and electrolysis systems.
