Organized to share knowledge and encourage continuous learning, our recent 'Connect' session was around the topic of 'Revolutionizing OS Vulnerability Management with Automated Patching. At the session, colleagues explored how Sysco's Infrastructure Operations team is transforming IT security through automated patching. Shamoda Jayasekara (Infrastructure Engineer), Pavithra Nandasena (Technical Lead - Infrastructure) and Lahiru Mendis (Associate Technical Lead - Infrastructure) discussed the evolution from traditional to automated patching, highlighting technologies, processes, and significant benefits in security, efficiency, and compliance.

Ruchini Weerawardena - Manager - Talent Management and Development at Sysco LABS recently delivered an engaging guest lecture on "How to Prepare for an Interview" to over 90 students from the Science Faculty at the University of Kelaniya. Capacity building is a crucial focal point for Sysco LABS, and we believe that engaging with students before they enter the industry makes a significant difference. Empowering future professionals with practical insights and skills is essential to their success.

Huge congrats to the MOF Tribal Esports Championship 2024 winners! The Florida Falcons unlocked victory, with the California Cheetahs and Virginia Vipers hot on their trail. With epic battles in Call of Duty - Mobile, Mortal Kombat, FIFA, COD 4, and Valorant, plus spectator games and snacks, the tournament was a blast. The grand finale at Sysco LABS HQ was the ultimate battle, complete with an awards ceremony where the Tribes celebrated their wins!
