We suspect Billie Eilish will be picking up a Grammy or two (or more) this weekend. Ahead of that event, she’s reached a new milestone on YouTube: 25 million subscribers to her official channel.

Eilish is one of fewer than 20 artists to reach that total, according to YouTube. This growth in her following is paying off: Eilish’s own channel has nearly 4.9bn lifetime views so far while, according to YouTube’s public metrics, her music has been played more than 5.7bn times in the last 12 months once other videos (e.g. UGC) are factored in.

Eilish’s stats page on YouTube makes for interesting reading, actually: the city where most people listen to her is Mexico City, with Santiago, Lima, Seoul, Jakarta and Warsaw in her top ten alongside LA, New York, London and Chicago. While the US is her most popular country with 1.39bn of those last-year views, Mexico (394m), Brazil (339m), Poland (141m) and Indonesia (132m) are all in the top 10. We’re genuinely intrigued by Poland’s high showing in these figures: whatever Eilish and her team have done in that particular country, it’s working.
