The Big Series headline Modified division format allows competitors several different engine-weight combinations.
Basic DIRTcar Modified rules will be in effect for all three race meets with the following options:
Big-Block DIRTcar engine rules, 2,500 lbs.
Small-Block W-16 engine, 2,350 lbs.
DIRTcar 358 Spec engine, 2,400 lbs.
DIRTcar Spec engine Option B, 2,450 lbs.
PA 358 engine, 2450 lbs.
All 358 engines Holley 650 or 750 carburetors, 5.57 gear rule, no rev boxes
All entries only Hoosier 300 or 400 Tires permitted
The first two races in the series will be DIRTcar sanctioned, allowing DIRTcar members to count these races towards their home track status.
DIRTcar membership is not required to enter any The Big Series races.
A point system will be in effect for all three races. A small point fund has been established for the Modified division, but more importantly,
the top-three in points are guaranteed starters 7-8-9 in this October’s Eastern States 200. Other special awards will enhance the basic purses for the three races in the series.
