For the next few months, sex is not part of GloRilla's agenda.
In posts shared to X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, the "Tomorrow 2" rapper revealed she's ringing in 2024 by practicing 90 days of celibacy — and joked about why it's been difficult.
"Started my 90 day celibacy lil s--- for new year’s or wtv," wrote GloRilla, 24, on the social media platform. "I’m on da 9th day & my vision blurry af !!!!! Send help."
Fellow rapper Sexyy Red then quoted her post and joked that she'd likely be experiencing similarly unexpected symptoms if she gave up sex. "girl I’d be losing hearing in my right eye," wrote the "Pound Town" performer.
"Bitch I been lost it," replied GloRilla. "I be having to take my sunglasses off just to hear."
In a July 2023 interview with Elle, the "F.N.F." musician opened up about her self-sufficient approach to life. "Be independent. Have fun. Live your life," said GloRilla at the time. "Don’t let no n---- be the reason that you hate yourself. Have self-love."

Avoiding sex seems to be nearing trend status in the hip-hop community at the moment. Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson posted to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal he's "practicing abstinence" this year.
"My new idea is so big, I don’t have time to be distracted I’m practicing abstinence, I have been meditating and focusing on my goals. I hope this New Year helps you excel to the next level. @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi," the rap mogul wrote, tagging the liquor brands he owns.
Megan Thee Stallion also revealed in a November 2023 Instagram Live stream that she's "turning over a new leaf" regarding her current approach to sex.
The "Cobra" rapper said that while the raunchy persona she embodies in her song lyrics does ring true to her personal life, her thoughts toward intimacy have shifted as of late.
“I’m stingy with the [sex],” said Megan, 28, according to fan-filmed footage. "I’m not a freak anymore. I’m done. I’m done with the streets. So toxic in the streets. I’m tired with the streets."
