Who Is Rapper NBA Youngboy’s Wife? All About Jazlyn Mychelle

NBA Youngboy and Jazlyn Mychelle are enjoying married life.

The rapper, also known as Youngboy Never Broke Again and born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, married the influencer on Jan. 7 2023, in Utah, according to marriage license records.

Best known for his chart-topping hit “Outside Today” from his 2018 debut album Until Death Call My Name, Youngboy and Mychelle started dating in 2020 and reportedly got engaged two years later, with HipHopDX reporting at the time that the rapper had purchased a sizeable engagement ring.

During their relationship, the couple have welcomed two children together, Alice Nora Gaulden and Klemenza Gaulden. While Youngboy and Mychelle keep most of their relationship private, they don’t shy away from publicly declaring their love, with Mychelle appearing in several of Youngboy’s music videos and the cover of his 2022 mixtape Ma’ I Got A Family.

On his track “Don’t Leave” from his 2023 album Don’t Try This At Home, Youngboy nods to his relationship with Mychelle and raps, “I made her my wife and then I promised we won’t grow apart.”

She’s a content creator

Mychelle is a beauty and lifestyle vlogger. Her self-titled YouTube channel has over 90,000 subscribers, and includes a slew of videos that range from "day in the life" vlogs to her skincare routine and fun challenges with friends.

In 2022, she posted a roughly 50-minute vlog sharing her routine as she prepared for the arrival of her and Youngboy’s son. The rapper is seen toward the video’s end in which he helps Mychelle build a stroller and unpack other baby necessities like a car seat.

Youngboy also makes an appearance in another of Mychelle’s videos, titled “Come With Me Spa Day!”, where she surprises her husband with a romantic bubble bath at home.

They got engaged in 2022

The couple first sparked engagement rumors in February 2022 when a Philadelphia-based jewelry brand, Shyne Jewelers, posted an engagement ring that the rapper seemingly purchased for Mychelle.

“NBA Youngboy 30 ct Engagement Ring – all stones GIA certified,” the brand captioned the post on Instagram. “Comment who you think it’s for,” they added, fueling rumors that the two had gotten engaged.

Although the couple didn’t address the rumors at the time, they seemingly confirmed the news of their engagement later that same year when, according to a report from Complex, the rapper announced Mychelle’s pregnancy with Klemenza on Instagram.

Youngboy posted a series of since-deleted pictures of what appeared to be Mychelle’s baby bump, including a photo where a huge diamond ring could clearly be seen on her ring finger.

They got married in 2023

In early 2023, Mychelle and Youngboy tied the knot in Utah.

The Baton Rouge-born rapper previously hinted at his upcoming nuptials during an Instagram Live in which he said “I’m getting married January 7th ... I’m happier than a motherf-----. I’ve been waiting on this my whole life.”

The couple were issued a marriage license from the Utah County Clerk, which lists the date of the marriage as Jan. 7, 2023.

Meanwhile, according to music outlet Rap-Up, Mychelle posted since-deleted behind-the-scenes content from her wedding preparations on Instagram, sharing photos from her bridal dress shopping and floral arrangements.

They share two children

Mychelle and Youngboy share two children together, a daughter named Alice Nora and a son named Klemenza.

The pair welcomed their first born in 2021 and she’s since become a regular on their respective social media accounts and projects. Alice starred alongside her mom in Youngboy’s music videos for tracks “Purge Me” and “Heard of Me.” She also makes appearances in Mychelle’s videos on her YouTube channel like her 2024 birthday vlog in Hawaii where the little girl can be seen on the vacation with her younger brother.

The couple welcomed their son Klemenza in September 2022, with both Mychelle and Youngboy sharing the news on social media. The rapper posted a sweet photo of himself feeding his newborn with the caption, “We got left today for a little but it’s cool.”

Mychelle also posted a vlog on her YouTube channel that same month where she shared her journey at 37 weeks pregnant and her preparation for her son’s birth.

“Can’t believe I’m having a boy,” Mychelle says in the video as she’s folding her baby’s new clothes. “I never thought I would have a boy.”

In April 2024, Youngboy also shared some sweet family photos of himself, Mychelle and their children on Instagram. "Mines💚 thankyou," he captioned the snaps.

Youngboy is also a father to eight other children with seven women.

She’s featured in some of Youngboy’s work

Mychelle often supports Youngboy’s work and has appeared in several of his projects.

In 2022, the beauty influencer joined her husband in a music video for his single “Purge Me.” Mychelle can be seen throughout the video in a luxurious home and embracing her husband. Their daughter, Alice, also makes a cameo in the video.

Mychelle then appeared in Youngboy’s music video for his 2023 track “Heard of Me,” where she’s seen playing around in a jacuzzi with the rapper. The lifestyle vlogger also notably appeared on the cover of Youngboy’s 2022 mixtape Ma’ I Got A Family, where she’s pictured posing alongside her husband for a family photo with their two children.

Mychelle also featured in one of Youngboy’s songs, “Poppin S---” from his 2022 mixtape Realer 2, where she can be heard rapping the track’s chorus.

Youngboy has a tattoo in her honor

Youngboy has a vast collection of tattoos, including one in a tribute to his wife.

Although the rapper never formally revealed the tattoo he has in Mychelle’s honor, it was first spotted in his music video for track “Members Only” when Complex reported that he had tattooed Mychelle’s first name, Jazlyn, across the lower part of his abdomen.

In the music video’s scene, Youngboy is bench pressing a barbell at his home gym and his shirt rides up revealing the tattoo. At the time of the music video’s release, it seemed that the tattoo was a new addition to Youngboy’s collection.
