l haven't even made a proper dent in this book. and I'm already loving it. "The Beauty Myth," by Naomi, Wolf, has really opened up my eyes around the history of beauty ideals. The beauty myth always has been about prescribing behavior to women, not about appearance. I think most women would agree, that beauty is unique, individualistic, and spans across a wide spectrum. Let’s not limit ourselves into thinking that beauty needs to be a narrow box to fit into.
