Qia Qian, born 1979 and raised in Chengdu, the capitol of China’s Sichuan province, is an internationally known graphic designer currently working out of New York as far as I know. Apple - Pro - Profiles - Qian Qian has a great story on his life and graphics. I'm sure every designer under 30 knows of his work.
