Ciarán Hinds (born 9 February, 1953) is an Irish[1] actor from Northern Ireland who portrayed Aberforth Dumbledore in the film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.[2] Probably his best-known role in recent years is as Gaius Julius Caesar in HBO's historical miniseries Rome, which co-starred Guy Henry as Cassius (one of Caesar's assassins) and Kathryn Hunter as Queen Cleopatra's maid, Charmian.
