Here's where I imagine my character Astrid Bjørnsdatter comes from/lives in. Humble beginnings. :)

I have no idea where in France this picture was taken. It sure felt familiar, owing to the fact it reminded me so much of one of Rik Pierce's dollhouses. I sure would love to make it. Though not for my collection, it would be too small. I just think it would be a lot of fun. I even like the color of the green trim. Surely there can't be two doors side by side... Can there? The Crow Cottage measures approximately 4.7” L x 3” W x 3.9” H at 15mm scale, 7.9” L x 5” W x 6.6” H at 28mm scale and 9” L x 5.7” W x 7.5” H at 32mm scale. Printed in gray. Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year, when the countryside bursts into life and is filled with the most beautiful textures and tones. The soft, low sunlight creates gentle hues of palest golden green, farmhouse reds are rustic of the earth and greys are born of woodsmoke and ash.
