Architect: Charles W Clark, 1925 The station was opened by the Metropolitan Railway in 1879. The station building was re-built by Charles Walter Clark in 1925 using marble white faience. The diamond shaped clock on the façade is in the shape of the logo of the Metropolitan at the time, a diamond, and the green tiling in the ticket hall is also original.

Lander (1898-1960) worked with Charles Holden before joining Welch (1884-1953) to form Lander and Welch. They had both worked on modernist style buildings and projects of the time, such as Letchworth Garden City, Welwyn Garden City and Hampstead Garden Suburb. Park Royal was their only project for London Underground.
