Hey everyone! Here's a mnemonic kinda video for how to draw the nasal septum --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vY9dwSDNTLQ I've always had problems remembering the names of various bones and cartilages so I made a silly mnemonic for myself. At first, I did a horrible job at editing the video.. I couldn't speed and slow down the video where I wanted it to and the video jumped here and there T__T Then finally, I figured it out ^__^ Hope it helps <3 Anatomy of nasal septum That's all! -IkaN

Nasal skin thickness varies among individuals. The nasal pyramid is composed of 2 nasal bones and the frontal process of the maxilla. The thickness of the bones decreases toward the tip of the nose; as a result, most fractures occur in the lower half.Upper lateral cartilages form the middle nasal vault. Of course the air comes together in the back of the throat and then goes down into the lungs. The septum is not visible from the outside and usually has nothing to do with the appearance of the nose from the outside. The main problem with a deviated septum is that it can cause airway (breathing) obstruction on one or both sides of the nose. It may…
