this is my all time fav kindergarten lesson. we cover line styles (horizontal, vertical, diagonal, etc.) they all learn the basic concept and importance of line, create them with brilliant oil pastels, then do a watercolor wash over top. the resist is my fav. technique, and possibly over used, but i love it anyway. and so do they! :)
