There’s nothing like a tree for making a strong statement in a garden. Even in the tightest of residential courtyards, there’s almost always room for a lofty specimen or two. As landscapers, we use trees to add height and balance to a planting scheme, but also colour and sculptural form. They might take up more room than your average shrub, but trees give so much back in visual appeal.
