Thing One (1) and Thing Two (2), also known as Bim and Ben, are the first two of the Number Things from One and Up from The Cat in the Hat book. They were released from the box the Cat brought to introduce to Conrad, Sally, and the Fish. The Things later caused mischief by recklessly flying kites in the house, which bumped the wall and knocked everything down their path. Conrad was able to stop the Things with a net.
