"Sunset ii", watercolour painting, 7.5 x 11" SOLD This is the second sunset demo from my class on Wednesday morning. This time, I painted the clouds on dry, white paper, puddling in the colour, and then put the lower sky with the pale yellow in afterwards. When that was dry, I put in another layer in the lower sky of duller orange, leaving the bright yellow to shine underneath the clouds. The colours of the clouds are a bit brighter on this painting, because they were put on white paper…
