How I train “drop” 👇 1️⃣Step 1: As strange as it sounds, I start training drop when there’s nothing in the dogs mouth! I want to condition that when they hear “drop” they VERY quickly open their jaw. This helps later when they might find something gross out on walks that you want them to immediately spit out 😂 2️⃣Step 2: When there IS something (low value) in their mouth, say “drop” and still do the treat scatter.
