The Alien franchise by movie genre - I always said this about Alien (horror) and Aliens (action). I would put a question mark or the word "confused" next to Alien 3. Or maybe "introspective french film?" And Alien 4 question mark + Good Effort. Maybe the problem is they've tried since 3 to get all the horror of one and all the action of 2.
