Eastern Bongos - A herbivorous, mostly nocturnal forest ungulate (hoofed animal). Among the largest of the African forest antelope species. The Eastern or Mountain Bongo (Tragelaphus eurycerus isaaci) is one of the world’s largest forest-dwelling antelope endemic to the rich Afromontane forest ecosystem in the central Kenyan highlands around Mt Kenya, the Aberdares, the Mau forest and Eburu forest.
