This ornament is made by folding small squares individually and using pins to secure each piece to come out to a beautiful design. No one will have one like it! Origami is the Japanese word for paper folding. ORI means to fold and KAMI means paper. Together, they form the word, "origami." It is a Japanese art form that has been handed down from parent to child through many generations. It requires eye hand co-ordination, sequencing skills, math reasoning and spatial skills. The charm is secured with a pin, therefore, it can be removed and placed anywhere on the ornament you choose.
