This is the most battered, creased, tatty and well-used book I own – Brighton Rock by Graham Greene, published in 1945 by The Invincible Press, Sydney. The paperback was printed under austerity measures by Truth and Sportsman Ltd, “cnr. Kippax and Holt Streets, Sydney” (geotagged).
