Confidence and ignorance are a dangerous mix, and it can be especially potent when it comes to men who feel that they have the right to tell women what to do. On the /r/NotHowGirlsWork subreddit, moderators and contributors catalog the craziest cases of men (and, in odd cases, even women) sharing their most head-scratching takes on women’s minds, bodies and rights.

Here my 3 top tips for Hooded Eyes:

1. MATTE vs SHIMMER EYESHADOW:
I always recommend using Shimmer Eyeshadow only on the eyelid. If you apply Shimmer Eyeshadow on the brow bone & eye crease this will draw even more attention to the hooded part.

2. TIGHTLINE vs EYELINER:
A thick eyeliner will visually take away space on the eyelid. With the tightline techinique you will still get the contrast but no space from the eye lid is needed.

3. CURL LASHES vs NO CURL:
If you curl your lashed before mascara this will give you an extra lift. Lashes are so important for an enhanced hooded eye look, so let‘s make them wow!
