All summer and fall I have been learning the ins and outs of Photoshop along with my new Cricut Maker to create my own stencil designs. This gives me the ability to have more intricate details when painting flowers. Such a huge learning curve, but oh the possibilities! These trivets will be available this December! @wintercraftmarket #csstangelpottery" Hand Painted Bowls Flowers, Pottery Painting Ideas Daisy, Cricut Pottery Stencil, Pottery Mixing Bowls, Ceramic Ideas Painting, Pottery Patterns Ideas, Pottery Painting Techniques, Fall Pottery Ideas, Pottery Stencils

For these, I used traditional onggi shaping techniques to form the initial circular slab which is then hollowed out to make high-footed plates. This way, I preserve the natural line on the outside of the piece. - #kwakkyungtae #onggi #wheelthrowing #ceramics" Plates Ceramic Pottery, Pottery Carving Designs, Onggi Pottery, Pottery Glaze Recipes, Grafting Plants, Slab Ceramics, Hollow Form, Pottery Form, Wheel Throwing

Artist Charlotte Bailey, fascinated by the traditional Japanese mending technique called kintsugi, utilizes an embroidery method to reassemble a broken vase. She first wraps each broken piece in fabric and then uses gold metallic thread to painstakingly patchwork the pieces together. While the process isn’t meant to make the vase functional again, it does produce a striking sculptural object.
