When recording I sometimes accidentally hit the trash can button and lose my entire recording. I feel there should be a pop up box that asks, "are you sure you want to delete?" So you can recover the message by clicking no. Nothing more frustrating than recording for 15 minutes only to lose it so easily. That view once vanish button needs to be put in a different location as well. I sometimes hit send and accidentally hit the that button which is very bothersome for obvious reasons.

I've been using this app for nearly a decade, and though some new useful features have been introduced throughout the years, some other features have been limited or gotten worse altogether. I remember being able to record and share lengthy videos (of 6+ minutes at some point). Then that got reduced to about 2 minutes, and now, to only 1 min and 40 seconds. But if you reach the time limit, it gets super buggy and it won't let you send the video!!

Works well. In fact, I find myself trying to get others to contact me via Whatsapp instead of other means because it does everything I need. It's easy to use, has all the knobs and dials, settings and themes, plus it integrates nicely with my phone. I get solid connections and safe (as far as I know) communications with others. I'm very pleased.

• You can now edit messages up to 15 minutes after sending. Long press a message and choose ‘Edit’ to get started.
• Group chats show the profile photos of their participants.
