Once in a while, everybody needs a boost of inspiration. Not only does it make us live life to the fullest, we also learn to appreciate every moment. Undoubtedly, we can get a lot of inspiration from historical figures. However, there are many people in history who don't hold a heroic or good reputation, yet they have showcased or broadcasted themselves as inspirational figures in one way or the other.

History is riddled with all kinds of creepy, grotesque, and downright disturbing events. Thanks to the magical artistic medium known as photography, some of those chilling and gawk-worthy moments and fascinating people have been immortalized on film and collected here in the pages that follow.
