Germany is the European Champion! DE🏆 No, it wasn’t in football. But when it comes to e-scooter rentals, Germany is definitely leading the way in Europe. Right on time for the final of the European Football Championship, we hit our 100 millionth Voi ride in Germany. That's more rides than Germany has inhabitants. From our first ride to this awesome achievement, we’re thrilled to share some highlights: 🌟 Stuttgart’s Super Rider: Our most loyal user hails from Stuttgart, with a whopping 6,240 rides since their first trip on November 17, 2019. That’s an average of 3,7 rides per day! 🏙️ Top Riding Cities: Frankfurt is at the top with the most rides per user, closely followed by Hanover and Aachen. Their enthusiasm keeps us going! 🗺️ Berlin’s Adventurer: A daring rider from Berlin has explored 16 different German cities on Voi scooters, showing true explorer spirit. 🛴 Longest Ride: A memorable journey took place in Berlin, where a dedicated rider covered 48 km in over 4 hours on June 29, 2021. That’s a ride to remember! 🚇 Busiest Day: March 1, 2024, was our busiest day ever in Germany. With strikes in public transportation, Voi helped keep Germany on the move! ⚽ Record-Breaking Month: June 2024 saw the highest number of rides to date. It looks like this record will be broken again this month, thanks to the European Football Championship boosting movement in Germany. We couldn’t have hit this milestone without our amazing community of users. Let’s keep moving towards a greener, more sustainable future! 🙌

🚀 Voi delivers on its targets in 2023 and is today EBITDA profitable with EBIT profitability in sight already for 2024 🚀 This week, Voi Technology AB is filing its 2023 annual report to the Swedish Companies Registration Office. 2023 was a year with a continued focus on the execution of operational efficiency improvements that helped Voi to reach adjusted EBITDA profitability on a last twelve-month basis from April 2024. "The transformation to EBITDA profitability, which began in 2021, is now complete, making Voi operationally cash flow positive. Over the past twelve months ending in May 2024, we have now reported over SEK 30 million of adjusted EBITDA, with our strong liquidity continuing to improve. We are proud of our achievements in 2023 and have laid the foundation to reach full-year EBIT profitability, possibly even in 2024," says Mathias Hermansson, CFO and Deputy CEO of Voi Technology. Voi has just hit an incredible milestone in Stockholm, the city where our journey began in 2018 🛴💚 On June 23, 2024, we celebrated our 🎉 20 millionth ride 🎉 in this vibrant city. The ride was taken by one of our loyal users who has been with us for 2.5 years, marking their 277th ride. Did you know? Stockholm is not just our hometown; it's a global leader in sustainable urban mobility! Here are some fun facts: 🌍 Stockholm’s ambitious climate targets: The city aims to be fossil fuel-free by 2040, striving for a greener, cleaner future for all its residents. And while car-use slightly decreased in 2023, there is a lot more to be done to reach this target together. 🚲 Bike-friendly city: Stockholm boasts over 760 kilometers of bike lanes, making it one of the most bike- and e-scooter friendly cities in the world. This network allows thousands of cyclists and e-scooter riders to navigate the city safely and efficiently every day. 🚗 Car-free city center: Stockholm has announced a groundbreaking plan to transform part of its city center into a car-free zone. Starting from December 31 a 20-block area will only permit zero-emission vehicles while banning petrol and diesel cars entirely. This initiative aims to drastically reduce air pollution and noise, creating a healthier environment for residents and visitors alike. Voi’s partner Hands2Ocean have been cleaning up the seabeds of Stockholm for the past six years. Now, the volunteer diving organisation plans to expand across Sweden, and beyond. "Without water there is no life on this planet, we need to value this resource. For far too long, we’ve been poisoning our bodies of water with waste, it’s time to take action together", said Fredrik Johansson, founder of Hands2Ocean. 🚀 New regulations for shared electric scooters in Stockholm! 🚀 Last night, the Traffic Committee in Stockholms stad voted through new regulations for shared electric scooters in Stockholm. Here’s what's new: ✅ The City of Stockholm will now be able to select operators and allocate the number of vehicles based on seven measurable evaluation criteria. ✅ High-performing companies can receive contracts for up to two years instead of the previous six months. Voi has supported this type of regulation for several years and we see this as a significant step in the right direction. The seven data-driven evaluation criteria are already well-established among all operators for the past 2.5 years. The fact that the city can now select operators based on our performance is very positive, as it means the bar is raised so that Stockholmers get access to the best possible services. We hope these regulations will give Trafikkontoret, Stockholms stad (the Traffic Office) the tools to choose operators based on performance and responsibility already for the next permit period, starting July 1. We believe that Stockholm should have 2-3 operators for the best results, similar to over 100 other European cities that have already regulated the service through selection.
