Observer Programme 2024: thank you to all the participants from Università degli Studi di Salerno (EUG2026), the Hrvatski akademski sportski savez (EUG2028 Split), and the Universidad de Granada (EUG2030). Additionally, a representative from the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games organizing committee and a delegation from the Universidade de Aveiro in Portugal joined the program. The Observer Programme was held in Debrecen-Miskolc from July 12-14, during the European University Games 2024 in Hungary.

We are looking forward to meeting you in Zagreb, Croatia, the vibrant capital which is gearing up to host European Universities Rowing Championship 2024 from August 28-31. The Organising Committee, in agreement with EUSA, would like to inform you that after technical evaluations, the competition will be held over a 2000-meter course. Lake Jarun is a perfect venue renowned for its excellent conditions for Rowing, having a big tradition and rich history of hosting top-tier international sporting events: see you there!

EUSA long time partners and friends from ENGSO Youth held two workshops on youth participation and mental health in sports in both Debrecen and Miskolc, during the European Universities Games 2024. In relation to the Youth Individual Sports Mindset (#YouMind) project, Ms Alessia De Iulis, representing ENGSO Youth, led the workshops on the importance of mental health for young people. https://lnkd.in/dbMmVceh

On July 14, the third and last day of the Observer Programme took place at the Aurora Hotel in Miskolc. The Observer Programme has been a series of events with the goal of giving a wider insight into the whole key information about the process of organizing the European Universities Games 2024, for future hosts and organizers. The Observer Programme was held in Miskolc on the first day, moved to Debrecen on July 13 and concluded as said in Miskolc on Sunday. https://lnkd.in/d4w9SvuQ

The EUSA Forum 2024, a key event within the ESOM Project (Enhancing Sport Organisations and Management), recently hosted a series of engaging presentations and dynamic round table discussions on the 13th of July in Debrecen. The EUSA Forum was part of the educational activities forseen and implemented during the European Universities Games taking place in Debrecen and Miskolc, Hungary. https://lnkd.in/dFVUp5ny

First verdicts are served on the European Universities Games 2024 with chess, judo and kickboxing having their finals and medalists! More action is present while the second day of 3x3 Basketball competition and the third day of Football matches continue to serve great results. The official Opening Ceremony of the European Universities Games 2024 was held at Miskolc's DVTK Arena with the presence of the representatives of the highest authorities of the host country, the University of Miskolc, University of Debrecen, City of Miskolc, European University Sports Association (EUSA), VIPs, Officials, athletes, and citizens of Miskolc. The EUG2024 are officially open!
