Bespoke Training Solutions Ltd are running a two day R04 Pensions and Retirement Planning workshop later this week on the 7th /10th June, that still has a couple of spaces available. What makes this pension unit a bit of a toughie? And how can a BTS open workshop help? Well, starting with the reasons why the R04 unit has the second lowest countrywide pass rates, the main reason is pensions aint simple, despite the political rhetoric 🤦‍♀️. Candidates must know a little bit about a very wide range of subjects. And generally math's questions form a small part of the exam. Some of the question wordings are a real challenge as well. I sat the exam again a couple of weeks back, and had to reread a fair few questions whilst trying to work out what they were actually asking me...And still had no idea with a couple so went for the educated guessing option of ip, dip, sky, blue.... In terms of how a workshop can help, an exam pass requires you to apply your knowledge. The workshop is all about understanding how key parts of the pension syllabus work so that you can do this. BTS Associates are skilled at bringing challenging subjects to life, something evidenced in our outstanding pass rates. I have recently coached a cohort of 11 high net worth business managers through their R04 exam, so far we have a 100% pass rate with some amazing scores being achieved (almost as high as my own 😜). Candidates will find our R04 workshop so useful wherever they are in their pensions studies - be that teeing up to sit an exam, or starting / partway through their studies. I have always loved the presence of women in the financial services industry. Throughout my career, I've been really fortunate to be surrounded by brilliant, driven women who have inspired, advised and mentored me (I hope you all know who you are).
