Steve Coogan, along with other high-profile figures including ex-footballer Paul Gascoigne and Liberal Democrat deputy leader Simon Hughes, has settled his phone-hacking damages claims.
The High Court heard that Mr Coogan had settled his claim for £40,000.
Last month 37 other claims were settled with News International subsidiary NGN.
