Despite diligent efforts from the River Cities Speedway staff to get the pit area and facility ready following heavy rainfall and lightning in the early morning hours brought inches of rain to the Grand Forks, ND area, World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Model and track officials have postponed Friday’s event to Sunday, June 30.

The decision was made in the best interest of the driver and fan experience.

Sunday’s program at River Cities will continue to pay $12,000 to the night’s Feature winner. Gates on Sunday will open at 2:00 pm, with Hot Laps set to start at 6:00 pm.

The Series heads to Ada, MN at Norman County Raceway on Saturday, June 29 before finishing the June stretch at River Cities Speedway.

New Berlin, IL driver Brandon Sheppard currently leads the Series standings, with Mooresville, NC sophomore driver Nick Hoffman trailing him by 20 points leading into the two events.
