LATEST RACE(S): Raceway 7 (May 16), Marion Center Raceway (May 18) and Path Valley Speedway (May 19)

CURRENT POINTS LEADER: For the first time in his career, Mooresville, NC driver Nick Hoffman leads the World of Outlaws CASE Late Models points after Thursday’s Feature at Raceway 7. From there, Hoffman showed the strength of his Tye Twarog Racing No. 9 through the Northeastern string with two top-10 finishes and a podium result at Marion Center Raceway on Saturday night.

MAKING MOVES:

Brandon Sheppard (-1): The New Berlin, IL driver lost the Series points lead on Thursday night after a blown right rear tire took him out of contention and ended his streak of finishing top-10 in every race in 2024. Sheppard recovered points on Sunday night at Path Valley Speedway, sitting only four points away from the lead.

Dustin Sorensen (+1): The MD3 Rookie of the Year points leader earned his first top-five finish of 2024 at Raceway 7, then earned a ninth-place effort in the quarter-mile showdown at Path Valley. With the results, Sorensen cracks the top-10 in World of Outlaws CASE Late Models points for the first time in the 23-year-old driver’s career.

Dennis Erb Jr (+1): The Carpentersville, IL driver picked up valuable points in the Ohio-Pennsylvania swing with sixth- and fifth-place finishes coming at Marion Center and Path Valley, respectively. Erb’s showing from the diverse set of tracks moves the 2022 Series champion up to eighth in points heading into the Memorial Day Weekend.
