River Cities and Ogilvie are up next for the World of Outlaws

With persistent rainfall Saturday morning lasting into the afternoon at Beaver Dam Raceway and more projected into the early evening, World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car and track officials have agreed to postpone the Jim “JB” Boyd Memorial finale to Wednesday, July 10.

The several hours of rain created hazardous conditions and prevented track personnel from being able to work the surface back into safe, racing conditions.

The postponement sets up a huge three-race week in the state of Wisconsin for The Greatest Show on Dirt. After the $20,000-to-win conclusion to the Jim Boyd Memorial on July 10, the tour will head to Wilmot Raceway for the Federated Auto Parts Larry Hillerud Memorial Badger 40 on July 12-13.

If you purchased a ticket in advance for Saturday’s race at Beaver Dam Raceway, you will be able to use the tickets for the new date. For any questions regarding ticketing, call (815) 344-2023.

The World of Outlaws now shifts its focus to the first visits to North Dakota and Minnesota in 2024. First up is the Don Mack Classic at River Cities Speedway (Grand Forks, ND) on Friday, June 7, and then it’s over to Minnesota’s Ogilvie Raceway on Saturday, June 8. For tickets, CLICK HERE.

David Gravel leads the standings with Carson Macedo 30 markers behind him in second, and 10-time Series champion – Donny Schatz – currently sits in third.
