Wasn’t sure what to expect with this one, but knowing Bastone wrote it had me diving in. I was not disappointed! Once again, I feel like the story has left a residual feeling of empowerment and warmth in its wake. The story starts simple: girl gets pregnant from a one-night stand and her life gets complicated. THATS just the tip of the iceberg however! Complications inevitably arise and the plot takes a sweeter turn. Amidst the trials of pregnancy and changes, the main character must persevere and come to terms with her new reality. I loved this book and can’t wait to read Bastone’s next work!

Not sure what it is about Bastone’s books, but I always feel like I’ve gotten a big hug after listening to them (and never get sick of re-listening). Also like I could take on the world, strangely enough. The story like in this latest novel was right up my alley, time travel, romance, conflict, it’s got it all! Well, I’m off to go re-listen to the Love Lines series once more while I await her next hit!

Wasn’t sure what to expect after the intro warning, but was ready for just about anything. I’m floored by how amazing this book was and am dying with laughter and too many emotions. Good emotions, of course. And I can’t wait for book two!!!

There was a lot more at stake in this newest adventure for our favorite heroine. I teared up the most in this story to be honest and love how things turned out! Good for Jackie.

(Like most who’ve been listening to the books, I did find the change in Hassan’s name a little cringy. But I digress. )

I’m curious to see what Banet will bring us in the next book! The world of the Tribunal is so incredibly complex that I hope Banet will continue writing for years to come! That aside, her books never fail to entertain and entice the reader! Keep up the amazing work, K. N. Banet!

After the Kate Daniels series I wasn’t sure anything could measure up to my high expectations but I think I’ve found my new favorite series (hopefully there’s a book two soon!). Though some of the pronunciations were off I was able to listen happily and it didn’t detract grim the story. I’m waiting for book two!

This is the third series I’ve read from this author and love the dynamics for these characters! Never a dull moment in the lives of her characters, Everlys series has been another eye-opening book in the world of the tribunal. I can’t wait to see where this series will take us but an thoroughly enjoying the ride!

I’m thrilled to have gotten this new perspective with Helen and Mathiras! It was interesting to have the female lead as something other than human or human/clone. After the last book, I was curious to see how their story (Helen and Mathiras) had taken such a sharp turn. As usual, Dixon didn’t let me down! Adventure, steam, and new experiences come in spades with this book!

As for the performance/voicing of the characters, I was a little apprehensive about Helen’s narration - but she is supposed to be other. Her voice is sweet and high, as her character description calls for. I think it just took a little getting used to.

All in all, this was a great book and I can’t wait for the next one!

I hope Buroker never stops making these urban fantasy novels! Hilarious and so much adventurous fun, I’ve loved listening to the Death Before Dragons and this series! Mattie’s life is still a source of curiosity for us - even after a few more ends have been tied in this book, and I’m relied there are going to be more books! I’m interesting to see how things will play out from here!

I wasn’t sure what am to expect, but I’m liking the supernatural and duplicitous aspect of this story/series. Each character is different, with their own complex emotions and reasons for being how they are. Though the book is sort, I have hope that we’ll get to see more and learn more about the situation our main characters find themselves in. Color me intrigued!

I also love that they let us know when the next book will be out on Audible! I’m setting my calendar-count down!
